Coastal drop off each leg
Our support boat brings the group ashore at the start of the selected walking stage. We stay in touch the entire way for assistance or to pick you up when needed.

Walk the Carian Trail
Spend the day walking through pine forests, ancient paths, remote villages and spectacular coastal landscapes. Most stages are approximately 15 to 20 kilometres.

Pick up, sail and relax
At the end of the walk, Kuro collects the group at another bay, beach or harbour. Return aboard, swim, shower, eat, relax and sail towards tomorrow’s trailhead.
The walks don’t need to connect. The sea connects them for us.

Walk pine forest, olive groves, old mule tracks and sea-facing ridges. Unlike a normal trek, we are not limited by roads, hotels or luggage transfers.
Your walk does not need to finish at a road. It only needs to finish near the sea.

Your link between trail and yacht
Meet Kuro.
Kuro is our 7-metre Northstar Orion RIB: the fast, capable link that makes this coastal trekking journey possible.
It gives us beach and cove access, morning drop-offs, afternoon pickups and practical route support where roads cannot. Its 200 HP Mercury Pro XS V8 is secondary to what matters: safely connecting walkers, yacht and coastline.
The coast becomes our trail network. The Ship becomes our moving basecamp.

Guidance, crew and marine support

Professional daily route briefings, an experienced ship's crew and marine support work as one team throughout the journey. We are always standby to support when needed.
Routes, weather, sea conditions, landings and pickups are coordinated every day. The captain has final authority over sailing, Kuro operations, landings and pickups. Plans can change when safety or conditions require it.
The route is never more important than the group.
You do not need to be a mountaineer. You do need to enjoy walking.
Most stages are 15–20 km on unpaved paths with elevation changes. Good basic fitness, sure-footedness and hiking experience are important. Maximum 12 guests per ship.

How demanding are the hikes?
Most stages are 15–20 km on uneven terrain. Reasonable good fitness and some hiking experience are prefered.
Must I walk all seven stages?
No, of course not. We are happy to have you on board with us and let you enjoy the day on the water!
Can a walk be shortened?
Of course! Where the route and coast allow, we can arrange a later drop-off or earlier pickup.
Can I book solo?
Yes. As a solo traveler you can join in a shared cabin with someone of the same gender of course and you have your own separate bed. All cabins have ensuite private bathrooms.
Where does my luggage stay?
The best part is, on board! You just unpack once and you take only what you need for the day. So no heavy backpacks, no hassle, you are all set with very little to carry!
What happens in bad weather?
The route may be adjusted; the yacht gives us valuable flexibility.
What footwear do I need?
Well-worn hiking shoes with reliable grip are essential. We can provide a full packing list before departure.
How large is the group?
Every ship is limited to a maximum of 12 guests. We sail with a maximum of 3 ships.
How much actual sailing takes place?
We sail whenever wind, route and timing allow. Safety, walking logistics and the Crew of Flaka judgement determine each day’s plan.
